ObliqSound recording artist Max Wild will be touring Europe and North America in the summer of 2011, promoting his latest album, Tamba [DANCE!]. Tamba celebrates a masterful integration of Afropop, modern jazz and funk rhythms. In it, Max has collaborated his saxophone and songwriting skills with Zimbabwean vocalists Chiwoniso and the late Sam Mtukudzi, as you may listen to on the materials enclosed.

2011’s tour will feature the new powerhouse vocalist and bassist from Zimbabwe, Josh Meck, and the stunning singer and dancer from Sam Mtukudzi’s band Bella Charlie, both of whom promise to tear up the stages and dancefloors of each and every one of their 2011 gigs. Max’s record label ObliqSound, based in New York and Paris, will be launching a publicity campaign around the tour to generate exposure for the new album, which I’m sure will help with promotion for your event as well. That they will already be on tour throughout Europe during the summer of 2011 means that it will cut some travel costs. We believe our international sound, story and package to offer great things to your venue and hope you will agree with us.

Tour Period: May 30-June 26, 2011
